[OOC: Blank memory, I forgot the name of my OCs for a while orz]

The forest dividing the two dormitories, the Zephyr is known as the spot for bloodshed, and therefore all students are forbidden to enter that forest. Of course Griffith knows this but, really, he was just curious...

"Oi, Griffith, do you know what they'll do to use once they found out?" Griffith's partner in mischief, Lucius said. Well, he certainly doesn't think that it's fun, making trouble. But hey, he owes Griffith a whole lot more than sticking around with him.

"Oh just shut up. Ain't you curious about this place?"

Lucius can only sigh at his friend's response. "Just how long--"

He goes quiet when the other male raised his hand, trying to get him to shut up. "What's that noise over there?"

Kherrhimhoss flattened himself against a tree. He knew he shouldn't have brought both his bastard sword and his bow and quiver. It was too much to carry along with his twin short swords. Now all he hoped for was that the two hadn't seen him.

Ke'ros had been sneaking around, breaking rules as per usual when he noticed two members of the opposing school. Grabbing and placing one of his arrows on his bow, he steadied it with his finger and drew the string a little bit. He looked partially around the trunk to see if they had left- they hadn't- and resumed his previous position, pointing the arrow at the ground for now.

The young man was stiff with anticipation. He knew he should have brought someone, but if he'd brought Crystal... he wouldn't want to think how many pieces he'd be in right now. Ke'ros let go of the bow and hovered the tip of his arrow over his hand. He cupped his hand around it, slowly and very quietly whispering the words to a spell he used often to enchant his weapons. Soon enough, he drew his hand and grabbed his bow with the tip of the arrow glowing softly like freshly burned embers of a fire.

"Griffith, let's get outta here," Lucius whispered, clearly concerned by his friend's nonchalant attitude. "What if--"

"Look!" Griffith cut him off. "What's that light?" Being a vampire he is, his eyesight is obviously better than any other normal human.

"What light are you talking about?" Lucius narrowed his eyes, trying his best to detect even a small hint of lighting. His effort was futile, as he was only a new vampire.

"Never mind," The other male sighed. "You wanna gamble and follow me? Or you wanna bail and hide under your pretty coffin?"

"If you put everything like that, I've got no choice but to hide..." Griffith glared at him with a pair of sharp eyes. "I mean to follow you, of course."

Miki stumbles around the bushes. “Damn, stupid school, why do have to go and make the area so big?” hissed aloud to herself. She was heading to find her way to the library. She had heard that the library is one the famous points about the school for having spacious room and filled with limited editions of books that other schools could not even get but she had made a wrong turn and ended up lost.

She peered around looking for a way out. She sighs angrily. It was almost to the point where she wanted to scream out loud for help but her pride wouldn’t dare let her. She kicks a branch out of frustration. A squirrel chatters loudly from being hit. “Oh no, wait! I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to-,” she scrambles after the creature. She makes a series of squirrel noises in an attempt to interact with it. The squirrel chatters quickly back a response.

“Oh, THAT way? Are you sure? Didn’t I just come from that way? Okay. If you insist.” She walks off on the path that the animal pointed her off to.

"Come on, dude, I wanna sleep. Let's go back." Lucius grumbled, ruffling his own hair in depression.

"SLEEP? Are you kidding me? You're a vampire, not a human! Vampires live at nights, dummy!" Griffith exclaimed. Then, he realised that he was being so loud, he paused for a split second. "The only vampire that sleeps in this hour is Mittsun."

"Lucky kitty," Lucius mumbled, sneering in Griffith's direction. Clearly not amused by his attitude. "Come ooooonn!"

"Lucius, shut up. Stop whingeing like a sissy." He spat, stepping on the blond's feet with his vampiric power, making the other vampire yelp as a reaction. "Let's move forward."

"Great..."

“Dang, what the heck? You said this way right?” Miki asks the squirrel one more time.

The area several yards in front of her projects a strange aura. She feels a chill run up down spine as her blood runs cold and the hairs on her neck stand straight.
She continues walking, despite the voice in her head screaming to turn back and suddenly bump into a wall.
She put her hand on the wall and it felt cold to the touch.
The wall began to speak, her hand on the wall.

“That's my chest.” A voice booms at her.

"W-w-what?! What are you doing in a place like this?!?! G-get out of my way, stupid!", she stutters.

In an instant, Lucius snapped and moved back a few steps before he narrowed his eyes on the stranger, putting on his fighting stance. "Griffith."

"Sheesh," He rolled his eyes, grabbing the hands of the girl in front of him. "She doesn't look too dangerous, does she? All she did was bumping on my chest."

"You won't know how dangerous she is until she gouge your other eye. For god's sake, she's a magician!"

"So?"

"Don't 'so' me!" Lucius exclaimed, losing his stance. "Ah you're hopeless, Griffith. I'd love to see you dying in a girl's hands."

"Cut me some slack, would you--" Griffith stopped in the middle of his sentence and he narrowed his eyes. Lucius realised that another vampire was in contact with him through telepathy. "Mittsun just told me we should stop sneaking around inside this forest."

"Ha! Even he knows you're here. Let's finish this battle and come back to the dormitory!"

Griffith threw his weapon anchor on Lucius's stomach. It was not strong but enough to shut him up. "What's your name? What are you doing in this place?"

Miki scrambles to her feet and tries to compose herself.

“Shut up!! Why should I have to reply to you? I asked you first. Don’t you have any manners?!” Miki shouts.

She examines the both of them, looking up and down. She notes that they look strong but bet they’re just weaklings trying to show off with their weapons.
“And you!” She points to Lucius. “You didn’t tell me your name. What business do you have here?”

She looks at Griffith. “Whatever. Since you bumped into me, you have to have take responsibility. Be a gentleman and I’ll give you the honor to lead me out of the forest.”

Lucius and Griffith both looked at each other in uncertainty. A heartbeat later, Griffith's laughter echoed in the forest. "One funny girl, ain't you? I'm here just for the sake of it. I'm just curious about this place but I can't see anything exciting."

"And why should I reply to you when you haven't even told us your name?" Lucius sneered. "Let's leave, Griffith!"

"Hold your horses, Lucius. Why don't you have the turn to escort this lady out of this forest? I'm sure her friends are looking for her."

"No kidding, captain." Said Lucius sarcastically. "You're telling me to go to Whimsical and risk my life? No way."

"Well, sounds like my friend has a horrible manner. So, do you care to introduce yourself, girl? My name is Griffith Aviragus and this grumpy old man is Lucius Scythe."

"Excuse you! You're older than me!"

“Alright, since you introduced yourselves. My name is Miki Haruna, the granddaughter of the principle of this academy. Now that you know that, are you grateful to be in my presence?” She says.

Miki makes a sour expression towards Luicius. “No, I don’t want you to lead me out. It has to Griffith, he’s the one who bumped into me but you can tag along, if you must.”

Miki grabs Griffith's arm and tugs him. "Let's go. Hurry up. I don't have all day."

"Bye, Lucius!" Griffith saluted him with two fingers before he disappeared with the Miki, leaving Lucius alone in the forest, with no idea how to get out. Luckily, he's a vampire... so his instinct is better than most human... "So you said you're the granddaughter of Whimsical? Is it possible to tell him not to kill me once I get there?" Griffith chuckled in amusement.

It was good that Kherrhimhoss had waited. Having the girl take one of them away was good. Ke'ros' breathing was thin and shallow, even though his heart was racing. Beads of sweat formed around his neck and on the sides of his head.

One of the vampires was still there, he noticed, so he decided he would made his move. He quickly turned from the tree, aimed, and fired his arrow, still enchanted, at the boy; all but hoping that it would miss. Whether it did or not, he drew another arrow.

"Holy cow!" Lucius jumped, his heart almost burst in surprise. The sharp arrow whooshed just past his waist, piercing the outer layer of his clothing, its tip sunk into the tree branch nearby. He prayed inside his mind, hoping that he wasn't being targeted. But a skip second later, he realised that nothing good would come out from staying still. So, he moved swiftly and his figure blurred.

God damn... the Spell Knight thought. Usually his aim was perfect; although, he was fighting against something inhuman, he reminded himself. He tried to locate the vampire again to little avail and quieted himself and his senses, trying to listen for clues on where he might be. Ke'ros knew he'd have to act fast if he were going to beat this thing alone. He had no time to scale the tree to get a better vantage point and instead shot an arrow in the direction he saw the man run off to.

"Hey! Kherrhimhoss! What'cha doin'?" A young girl with blonde hair said in his ear, right behind him. He jumped a good distance into the air.

"Crystal! Shush! Hunting," Ke'ros hissed, sharply elbowing his acquaintance and hoping that he hadn't been spotted.

"Shoot, that was a close call," Lucius took a deep breath, clutching the wound on his left arm. The stray arrow had managed to slightly cut his skin, enough to draw blood. He covered the wound with his right hand, because he understood that it will heal soon.

He better get going; since he knew that he was facing no mediocre opponent, while himself is still a lowly mock of the vampire clan. He couldn't face duel directly, but he could only make a planning. That was exactly why having the brash Griffith near him was enough to hold back the enemy while he did the planning. However, that guy could be a pain in the ass sometimes.

"Can't hang around any longer here," He mumbled before he stood up and walked in the direction that he though was the right one.

"Damn. Well, Crystal, thanks to you, I lost him. Thanks a lot," he glared at his companion who just shrugged and sheepishly smiled in return. Ke'ros put his arrow back and grabbed the one that had landed in a tree. The arrows themselves were inexpensive to make, but took a lot of time to craft them one by one. He had used guns in the past, but had always been a better shot with a bow. Preferred it, too.

"You'll catch him next time!" Crystal followed him back, cheerful as ever. "Once, I froze this one girl beneath a lake... She was so pissed! I'm not sure if she made it out, though..." She trailed off, thinking. Ke'ros had kinda zoned out, trying to tune out the annoying yapping of the girl. Doesn't she ever shut up? Kherrhimhoss thought to himself, sighing.

"Did you hear that weird whooshing sound?" Griffith asked the girl beside him. However, she just sneered and kept walking forward. He couldn't help but let out a chuckle. As scary as she could be, he still thought that she was an interesting one to keep an eye on. "I wonder if Lucius is okay? Too bad he still hasn't grown in his telepathic ability..."

Yet, knowing Lucius, he was one that got into a near-death experience a lot and heck, he couldn't fight one-on-one to save himself. If he encountered some other magician, then he's as good as dead. Griffith shoved that kind of thinking aside and focused on the way to Whimsical Magic College instead.

Miki starts to get tired of walking and often mutters insults Griffith for walking too fast. She is quite surprised though, no one else ever puts up with her for that long, they’d usually get angry and upset and leave in huff. They’d leave her all alone to fend for herself and because of that; she learnt to become stronger.

Griffith is farther up ahead and she’s bored so she just focuses on his broad back. She watches that he suddenly stops and perks up.
“Did you hear that? That low growling noise?” he asked.

Miki pauses and slows her breathing. She listens attentively for a minute. Nothing.
“I don’t hear anything but I can feel a vibe from something that’s probably not too happy to see us.” She replies.

"Run or fight?" Griffith looked at Miki playfully. But he finally decided that running away was not an option. So he held the chain connected to his gigantic weapon anchor and took it to an offensive stance. "Fight?"

"Whatever," Miki muttered.

The growling noise becoming more and more audible, echoed through Griffith and Miki's eardrums. "Cerberus!" The male exclaimed when he saw the red three headed dogs lowering its gaze towards them. His eyes widened, not in fear, but in surprise. "Cerberus does not exist in this area!" The girl behind him looked puzzled and Griffith realised straightaway that she had never encountered this creature before. "Run. Let me hold this thing."

“What if you get yourself killed? You promised to get me out of this forest and you will fulfill the promise!” Miki shouted and whipped out her wand. She starts to chant a spell.

The Cerberus growled in annoyance when it realised that the pair was not as weak as it thought they would be. It looked at Griffith, who inflicted slightly more pain than the girl did and it barred its teeth at him.
